Me sleepy....zzzzzzzzzzz......

Moi being so funny since last 2 days!
Day before yesterday I reached home, Bittu run towards me and Pavi was scrolling in his best effort by thinking he goanna be first to reach me, but poor baby couldn’t make it and Big B hugged me first so he just started his “oooooohhh “ and next moment he was on my lap. I spent half an hour with them playing, giggling and then one friend came to visit us after that dinner and cleaning, washing dishes and packing lunch for next day it was 11.30 when we went to bed. Around 3.30 I wake up suddenly and sat on the bed screaming where my baby is, where my baby is! Hubby wake ups listening my shouting and he shacked me and asked what happened I said again where is baby? And he said he is here beside you what’s wrong? I saw Pavi sleeping in a depth sleep. Oh boy, so it was a dream???I felt like he fell down from bed or missing or something like that (I can’t recall now). Hubby was smiling and he pulled my leg all day for that :)

Now last night when I wake up listening Pavi crying and had a look beside me it was shocking for me that he was not in his place and I thot ohh God he fell down from bed! But soon I noticed the voice was from next room and my hubby was not there also then I remember that when we went to sleep Pavi was not in the mood to sleep and kept playing as he already had a good sleep until 9”O clock. I tried for half an hour to make him asleep but he didn’t. I came home with a bad headache and temperature which was killing me. Supervisor is on R&R so moi the in charge of our section now, so there was no way for extra day off other than Friday and hubby knew that. I felt that am the luckiest wife in world when he said me he is goanna sleep with pavi in entry so I can have a good sleep. So they left room and soon I fall asleep.

I went to hallway to see hubby was in bathroom and pavi was lying in bed on the floor holding his bottle full of milk and crying to see nobody around. He smiled to see me and I brought him back to my room, Hubby came and he was smiling to see Pavi beside me again and asked me “hogayi neend?” :)

I know I will have sleepless nights for at least 1 more year but it worth! As a mother, no complains :)

It was Great!!

So here I am with the update about Ceremony!
Thursday night when I reach home me and hubby just rushed to arrange everything.
First we went to Take my medicine from new Homeo Doctor (yes am taking that so I can get rid of this sinus problem which killing me since last 2 months) then mandir and talked to Sai uncle about the arrangement. They were also feeling same like us as there was no enough time. Anyway at last he said just make dal and some 2-3 kinds of veg curry and they will make Rice and Payasam there. Just bring some fruits for prasadam.
And after the pooja , breakfast for everybody ,that they will arrange just we need to pay no need to worry about it.They said to reach there at 6.45 as the pooja goanna start at 7 and ceremony will be at 7.15.

Way back to home hubby asked about buying little ‘Dhoti’ for Pavi and I refused that by saying it’s already at home which I get from back home aiming this (for which I felt crazy later … it’s another story). Then we went to buy all the things that we needed for next day.

Hubby’s cousins were waiting at home thank God D (my sis) is here and she handled about their dinner matter before we reach home.We finished dinner, I arranged extra bed in front room for cousin no.1 and cousin no 2 left to sleep and meet us next morning as he was staying just 10 min walking distance from our home.
After finishing dinner , cleaning and all I thought to look for Pavi’s dhoti but then It was 12’ O clock so thot to do next day and set alarm to wake up at 4’O clock!

I wake up, after a shower rush to kitchen started cooking thing and D joined me after some time. In that time Hubby, Cousin no 1 took shower and hubby gave Bittu also a bath and ironed his clothes so I was free from that part. I took Pavi to give him a bath I was thinking he goanna cry as it was too early for him to take a bath but he didn’t made any trouble was happy though!

So finally thy all were ready and what I was doing? Searching for little dhoti and couldn’t find it! It was missing from the place where I kept it. My Gosh I was almost in tears as we couldn’t buy a new one as shops were closed. And after half an hour searching in all the possible places in my room I find it among my dress and the credit for it goes to my poor maid who rearrange everything and thought it was a scarf or something which belongs to me!Aaah!No need to say room looked like last samurai just been there.

So cousin no2 also reach home and they all were ready. D was in salwar suit, Hubby in Dhoti shirt, Bittu in shervani, Pavi in little dhoti and now Bittu's mamma got just 10 minutes to wear the most difficult and beautiful dress in world (yes Saree aur kya? )Dunno how but it came out well in first try and I was relieved (usually it takes for me at least 2-3 times) !!

So we were there and mandir was crowded already with people for Friday special pooja and some of our family friends. They started first pooja at 7 and after that hubby sat there and pavi was in his lap as tradition. Panditji brought the thali and huby feed first then me then others. Hubby put sweet rice in Pavi's mouth and there was a cute expression on his face :) Like oh so this is what u all eating everyday and not giving me hahaha.He was so happy and was looking so cute in little dhoti and everyone was all, “ooh, baby”!! He almost snatched glass from panditji’s hand to drink more water and everyone was laughing to see that. Bittu was having fun with the camera and he didn’t feed him, I tried 2-3 times (I asked him later why so and he replied so innocently that my hands will be dirty so I didn’t feed baby!Oh boy)
After 1 hour long pooja it finished and am glad that Pavi didn’t even shown any irritation with that.He was all curious to see this all first time and watching everything with wide opened eyes. They served breakfast and prasad after that we thanked everybody and left for home .

We were roaming all day, then had lunch at shahi tandoori ,watched a movie and went to city centre for shopping then toy market to buy a walker for Pavi, Dinner at Udupi (I was not supposed to eat non veg so they all preffered to go Udupi).Food was really nice and Bittu amazed me by eating well by himself:) After dinner we all were feeling so tiered and sleepy just wanted to reach home and hit bed! It was a nice day!Wished for one more like that soon :)

Annaprashan/ Choroonu

Am so excited!!! Tomorrow Pavi’s Choroonu Ceremony(Choroonu is the ritual of feeding the child with rice for the first time) is going to be held at temple near our home.I am little nervous too as there is no enough time to prepare everything. It was supposed to done this month anyway and we just dropped because of his health issues. And yesterday I just wake up and realize that 7th month goanna be start from Saturday and if it will not do it tomorrow we need to wait 1 more month as they believe the 7th month is inauspicious for “Choroonu”. So D called back home and they told the time Friday morning 7 to 7.30 is good to go.
So I called Mandir and informed them about it and they said they will fix it.Me and hubby will go tonight there to get a picture for what we need to do and what not!

I miss Guruvayoor Temple!! I miss everybody back home now so badly. can’t tell what I feel .Happy , anxious, sad, excited a mixture of feelings !!

Is it my Day?

He says I need to change my hair style.
And he wants me to look younger!! May be that’s what he mean when he says I want you to look like that girl with 2 ponytails!
And he says ‘oh you smell nice’ when I try a new perfume…….
And he says “ohh it’s nice / don’t wear it”, when I wear a new dress
I am extremely worried for the girl who goanna come to his life one day!
After all I am the mother of this 4 a half year old little critic. :)

Pavi just find out the fun of scrolling so doesn’t really matter its 3’O clock in the morning, he wake ups and start scrolling on bed. And what a luck! I wake up every time just to find that he is near my feet, Gosh! One more move and he will be hitting the floor, touchwood! I started putting the spare mattress on floor. Better to be safe than sorry, as the saying goes.

I know when teething begins, all manner of things are put into the mouth, germs and all doesn’t matter how much we care. Whatever the reason, diarrhea is a painful thing for the babies. It resulted in diaper rash for Pavi which was really worst yesterday. The private hospitals closed all ready that time so we took him to clinic. I was expecting the same drama of not caring but the doctor was really nice; he listened everything with patience and checked him well. (Usually they don’t do that). And while leaving he asked me what’s the meaning of “Bravit” (as Arabs pronounce ‘Pravit’). I said “Hero’ and he said ‘oh he really looks like hero’. Pavi smiled like he understood everything :)

We went to bed at 12 and I thought he goanna cry all night because of pain but didn’t may be because of the medicines he slept good and poor baby was sleeping on his tummy all night as his back was hurting because of the rash.5.30 in the morning he was flashing his smile to see bottle in my hand. My heart was so heavy to leave him this morning but it was necessary as the coworker was having day off and boss was supposed to go to visit camp so I needed to be here today :(

I called maid several times to check how he is now. D (my sis) told me he is better and she gave him medicine when she been home for lunch.
Thank god he is better now but the guilt feeling is killing me that where I am when he needs me? “I am not the perfect mother. I try hard though” sigh!
And somebody just remind me this morning it’s Woman’s day today, I was wondering is it?
